He's getting the hang of things pretty well-- hoping he'll have his licence by his 16th birthday!
This past week he taught part of his seminary lesson. He didn't ask for any help, so I'm pleasantly surprised when this kind note showed up in the email from his teacher.
Dear Brother and Sister Jorgensen, Jarom taught the lesson today in Seminary and he did an amazing job teaching about prayer. He was prepared and taught with confidence. I was very impressed with how his lesson centered on one statement of truth that we all felt, understood and were inspired to apply. I really liked the good questions he asked. Awesome! He had good class participation because the lesson was well planned and kept everyone’s attention. His testimony was sincere and his challenge to the class was powerful. Thank you for raising such a terrific young man who has made a significant impact on our class and will change the world. Sincerely, Brother Pearce
How lucky we are to have him here in our family. I'm so happy he has an opportunity to attend Seminary and enjoys it.
He also had his braces removed. The teeth look fantastic. Sure took a super long time though!
He, Logan, Duncan, Ammon and Matt were able to visit one of the Jazz players - Trevor Booker. Great little moment to pick up a signature and mention how awesome they are at playing.
They got to go to a Jazz game with Duncan and Logan on Ammon and Logan's Birthday. They set it up to have their names on the mega tron, but only Ammon's showed up. :)
Ammon and Jarom played on the church basketball team. The teachers went to Region and Ammon was able to play with Jarom because I had just advanced.
Our ward was just split, so they will be playing in a new ward next year-- against their old ward members.
JT was their coach and he was great. He was impressed with Jarom and gave tips to help him be better.
